For us Marines our corps values are of Honor Courage and Commitment. These virtues play a part in greatness but i dont think its understood to its depth that it is. Not by most marines that havent bin in combat or deployed to humanitarian efforts ...

Share your story or testimony about why or how you became a Christian:: Ok ... here we go. I grew up poor, mom and dad devorced when I was about 7. Mom tryed to kill herself with me and my sister in the same room. As a lil kid I always got picked on. Then I started hanging aroung gangs, and all that stoped. I got in to smoking weed in high school. Then when I turned 18 I joined the army. Started drinking when I was 19. I had a son in 2002, he was murdered by his mothers fieance in 2004. 8 months after that I was sent to iraq for a year. I was already going threw a lot of deprestion when a very good friend of mine was killed in an explotion. I almost comited suiside in my room in iraq with my m-16. When I got back in the states I started drinking really hard. I would get pass out drunk every day. I went to church for a long time, I started when I was in high school. But I never really gave god my all. After I stoped drinking I started back at church, and I started helping in the kids area. in the summer of 07 I went to mexico with the high school group as a leader. That's when god really layed it on me. Slaped some sense into me as it where. I compleatly surrendered my everything to him. I've always thought that I was a nothing. But with god I feel I can acoplish any and everything. The bible says he won't put more on you then you can bear. So I figured god must think very highly of me, I only wish it didn't take so long for me to see.

whats on my mind

face your fears

everyone is scared of something. i dont care if your the biggest, meanest badest dude in the world. i myself think that the true messure of faith is how you face your fear. will you face it head on or will you run from it? will you let your fear rule you? such love has no fear because perfect love expels all fear. if we are afraid, it is for fear of judgment, and this shows that his love has not been perfected in us.( 1 john 4:18 ) we are not to fear anything. in this no one is perfect.

"we all know we can't change the world". doesnt it feel like that sometimes?
